From Monday afternoon 12 January until Sunday 18 January 2026 the OrganicXseeds database will be unavailable due to a major update. During that time the lists with the category classification of all crops will also be inaccessible. Therefore we are publishing these lists during this period on our website.
What changes are being made to the OrganicXseeds database?
For organic cultivation there is a legal requirement to use organic planting material. Through the OrganicXseeds database you can, per crop, see which organic varieties are available and from which suppliers.
The update will provide the database with new features that make searching for organic planting material easier and more efficient. The name will also be changed; OrganicXseeds will become OrganicXseeds / OrganicXplants.
