Skal has a new system for parcel registration: My Bio Parcels. With this system, agricultural enterprises can easily register, deregister, check, and manage their organic parcels. It is also possible to view a summary of all registered organic parcels.
Reduced administration through linkage with RVO
My Bio Parcels has been developed together with the RVO. Thanks to the linkage with the ‘My Parcels’ system of the RVO, administration for companies becomes much simpler. Data only need to be entered once and everything can be managed in one place. This fulfills a long‑cherished wish of both the organic sector and Skal.
Uniform data on organic parcels
Because of the differences in the way registration was handled by Skal and the RVO, it was not possible to align the data. With the introduction of My Bio Parcels, Skal and the RVO use the same source for parcel registration. This improves the reliability and uniformity of data on organic agriculture in the Netherlands.
Inspection quality
With My Bio Parcels, Skal inspectors now have clearer insight into which parcels are managed organically and which crops are grown. The inspector therefore gains a better understanding of the operations of the farm to be visited in advance. In addition, Skal obtains insight into the total area of organic crops, enabling chain inspections to be carried out more effectively.
